Chimney Rock View 2023

So Chimney Rock is open to the public again after the devastation from Hurricane Helene. I have not been there yet but I do plan to go check it out and see what it is like now. Now is probably a great time to go because there won't be any crowds. I always loved Chimney Rock. It is one of the first places I visited before even moving to the area 20 years ago. It is such a cool place and I am glad it re-opened. This is a proposal shoot I did there in the winter of 2023.

So, I arrived at Chimney Rock by myself. I took that really cool elevator that is inside the mountain to get to the top. I waited for my couple and took some nature photos from right outside of the elevator area. Once I spotted them, I followed behind as they wealked down the stairs to Pulpit Rock. When they got there, they put their things down and very soon ater, Austin got down on his knee and proposed! She said YES! Yay! Awesome! So so beautiful!
