Honeymoon Mountain Adventure Bridal Portrait

  These two lovebirds came to Asheville from Illinois for their honeymoon. Erick knew Christin really wanted to have some dramatic nature scenery for their wedding and it just wasn't possible on their wedding day. He surprised her with the gift of an Adventure Bridal Portrait session with me. I thought that was a really thoughtful gift for the new Mrs. from the Mr.

 When we arrived at the hiking trail, the clouds were really dramatic and moving quickly. The air was cold and windy and there was even a little ice along the trail. I got to learn more about these two along the way. There's nothing like the honeymoon vibe.  With the fog moving so actively, I couldn't tell if we were on cloud 9 or in cloud 9. I think it was both. 💞
 

Rock Climbing in Wedding Clothes   We got to the cliff and they now had their wedding clothes on. I suggested maybe that Christin take off her high heel shoes so she could safely climb down some boulders to get to the rocky cliff. She said she was fine, and she was! I was really impressed watching her gracefully scale that cliff in those shoes. Girl! Erick joked about finding out Christin was really Laura Ingalls Wilder incarnate. Hey, anything is possible!
