Lucky Sheep Outdoor Gear Hiking Photography

A few years ago, I got to work with my friend, Patrick Clark. We did a couple of commercial photoshoots to aid in the promotion of his company, Lucky Sheep. We had a blast doing them and got to hike to some mind blowing landscapes together in order to do so.

Since then, he has refined the designs and color of his signature super high quality, non-toxic, merino wool, beeswax coated, sleeping bags. He has also added several new complimentary naturally crafted outdoor loving products to the mix.

It was time for a new photoshoot to reflect all of these upgrades to his business. This past fall, we got to do it all over again. This time with a different cast of models and a bunch of new products.

With this new crew, we headed out on the trail.  We hiked to our "camping spot", and stopped along the way for photo ops. Patrick and the models used the daypacks and also the larger 80 liter backpacking packs to get our gear to the site as if they were on a real backpacking trip.

We set up "camp". They played tea party. They did yoga. They had a sack race. They took naps. They frolicked in nature. They snuggled. They had a sleeping bag dance party. They enjoyed hanging out with each other and the awesome gear from Lucky Sheep. It was a super fun time!

I'm so glad I got to work with Patrick again on a Lucky Sheep photoshoot. It's so cool to see a friend's business grow after a few years.

I know how much work it is to grow a small business. I am really happy for Patrick as he just announced that Lucky Sheep will be reviewed in the New York Times for their Plastic Free contribution to outdoor gear!! Awesome!
