I love photographing surprise proposals! There's just something about being in the know about the surprise. Also, it's kind of fun to hide behind the occasional bush, or pretend to be photographing other things right before the question is asked.

Then, there's the excitement/ nervousness of the person proposing. They want this to be a really special moment! There is a lot of love and care behind this part.

The best part though is the reaction of the person getting proposed to and getting to capture that moment. It's especially awesome if they are really really surprised like Maisie was here.
