He wanted to surprise her after their tour through the Biltmore House. We coordinated with the cellist he hired and set up under the Pergola.

The cellist and I waited under The Pergola. When we got word that they were close, I tucked myself behind a pillar and the cellist started playing one of Tyler and Mary's favorite songs.

Hand in hand, Tyler led Mary into The Pergola with the music playing. He stopped and got down on his knee and asked her to marry him.

They took in the moment and listened to the cellist for awhile, then we continued on to do a full engagement session around the Grounds & Gardens.
