Christmas Eve was a super cold day in Asheville last year. I had a photo session with this family that day.

When I got to the home they were renting, I noticed they had decorated for Christmas and even brought their own little Christmas tree and surrounded it with presents. Everyone was talking about how freezing cold it was and they asked it I would mind doing the photos indoors.

They chose the perfect place to decorate, because there were lots of big windows on the opposite wall and it created really nice soft natural lighting. It was so nice and cozy there. We decided to do most of the photos right there. At the end, a few people became more adventurous and we did about 20 seconds of each little group out in the cold too. I enjoyed being their family photographer!
