Well, the original plan was to have the wedding at Buck Springs Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway with a small group of family members. Hurricane Helene happened just about 2 weeks before this sweet couple's wedding and The Parkway was closed spanning the whole state of NC. Sadly, they couldn't have their wedding as planned.

They were from another state making it hard for them to really know the state of things in the aftermath of Helene. They weren't even sure if I could still photograph the wedding if they were able to find an alternative location.  Luckily, they were able to move the wedding to a family cabin in a part of WNC that was not devastated by the hurricane, and yes I was able to do it. They didn't even have to change the date.

Their wedding was wonderful, full of love and tears of joy.
