It was such a hot and humid day last June when we did this family photography session.

I met them at their vacation lake house to do the portraits and we did everything right in the backyard by the lake.

The whole time, we were joking about going for a swim because it was so hot.

Well, it turned out it wasn't a joke. This mom was serious about jumping into the lake. We waited until the very end of the session and got everyone back out on the dock. The mom grabbed the hands of the two kids and SPLASH!!! They were in!!! I will be honest here and say I was a little jealous. If I didn't have my camera, I would have jumped in too! Haha! SO fun!
