Madeleine had been a wonderful old friend to Brent and they had been together longer than the rest of the family.

Madeleine had been diagnosed with a really aggressive cancer and did not have much longer to live. Since the family loved her so much and Madeleine loved the mountains so much, they decided to take her on one last adventure and came to Western North Carolina to do that.

It's really hard to say goodbye to such a great friend and family member like Madeiline. I'm sure she was given a really amazing life and that their last memories with her were truly beautiful. 💗
