Couples Photos in the Mountains

Frances contacted me about doing an engagement session at Pretty Place.

She said that her boyfriend might propose during the session and said that he would reach out to discuss that with me directly. Well, he didn't reach out and I figured he had a different plan for proposing.

They drove out to Pretty Place really early so they could have a nice visit there before our session. It happened to be really icy that day and we had to pivot and change locations at the last minute.  They had closed the road to Pretty Place and we ended up having our session at beautiful nearby Bald Rock instead.

We were all surprised when Justin decided to propose in the middle of the session. He waited until a time when Frances was turned away and he got down on his knee and waited for her to look back and see him there. She did and it was a YES!! Yay!
