End of Life Photoshoot for Senior Greyhound Dog | Asheville Pet Photographer

There is so much love.

Sweet Winston had given his family love for all of the years they had been together.

His family had scheduled a senior dog photoshoot for him a few weeks in advance. They knew he was sick and wanted to get some nice photos together. A few days before our scheduled shoot, his health had taken a turn for the worse and they asked it I could come sooner. I did.

We honored Winston for everything he had given to his family. He was a former professional athlete before joining the family and we captured his pro tattoo. We brought him to his favorite place on the couch that he couldn't get to on his own anymore and he had so many snuggles. We brought him his two favorite toys and then we brought him all of his toys. They held his paw and told him they loved him. He was so well loved that even the neighbor stopped by while I was there to say goodbye.

After it was over, his family left me kind words online.

It's true that when a heart breaks, it sets all of the love free, and the love just spills out of the cracks. It was such an honor helping to save memories on Winston's last day. Peace to him and his family.

I now have a fresh viewpoint on the matter thanks to this post. I like that you went into enough detail to make the conversation relevant rather than concentrating only on broad concepts. It undoubtedly gave me some ideas later on.
