Looking Glass Falls

Looking Glass Falls is a really special place for a proposal (or an elopement for that matter). It is a public space, so you really can't predict what to expect as far as people although I can say it will always be a natural beauty.

This proposal took place in the middle of the summer. You can probably expect in the middle of the summer that there will be some tourists down there taking photos and a few people swimming on a hot day. Maybe if you go early in the morning you may be the only ones there. On this day, there were more people at this waterfall than I had ever seen.

I followed my couple down those stairs and when we got down there they walked though the crowd to get a better look at the waterfall. It seemed that there was some kind of a large group baptism going on in the river with lots of cheering. It was a sight!

Cole waited for some of the people to clear out and then he got down on his knee to propose! She said YES!!! And the crowd cheered!! They had lots of support. I made sure to edit out the crowd in some of their photos and left them in in others to tell the true story of the day.
