It was happening outside of the Basilica St. Lawrence in Downtown Asheville at the Marian Garden.

They were attending mass and I was hiding behind a car. You know...the usual. They probably have security cameras there. I wonder what they thought because I probably looked somewhat sketchy if I were to be seen.

Well they came out of mass and walked towards the Marian Garden. When they got there, he got down on his knee and proposed! She was shocked and said YES!! Yay!! After we did a few photos, we went inside the church for the engagement blessing that Doug had scheduled. It was so beautiful! 

After the fact, Doug left a really kind 5 star review: "Jamie did a fantastic job and was awesome to work with and the first photos look fantastic. Me and my fiancé would highly recommend her for engagement photos."
