Rebecca had gone to camp at YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly as a child and loved visiting it later in life. She had brought her boyfriend Nathan there before and they even had a favorite place to sit and enjoy the mountain view when they visited together.

Since this was such a special place to her and to them, he decided that it is where he wanted to propose to her.

Part of the surprise was also that both of their families would be there to witness the event. I hid inside the building along with all of the family members waiting for their arrival.

We watched them come up and sit in their favorite place and then they walked downhill and Nathan surprised her with a proposal. She was definitely double shocked when she saw the families coming down the hill towards them. Such a happy event! Oh yea and she said YES!!! Yay!
