I really love being an Asheville engagement photographer, especially when it is a surprise proposal. Dan put a lot of care and love into planning his proposal. He really wanted Taryn to be surprised. On that misty, foggy January morning, I waited near a statue at the Biltmore and admired the mysterious mood of the day. This sweet couple arrived and Dan did it! He got down on one knee and told her how he felt. Taryn had to put her coffee down for this! I loved witnessing all of the feelings there. Yes, it was very successful and Taryn was super surprised. Her shocked expressions were priceless, but so was the love they obviously share. What a gift!
