I got there a little early to scope out the scene. It was a bit cooler and cloudier up there than it had been in town. The wind was blowing and it felt dramatic. I watched as Jason and Madeline pulled up to the overlook. I heard birds chirping and the occasional car swooshing by. When I started to hear squeaking and squealing, I knew that Madeline had caught on that she was getting proposed to. There was a lot of squeaking and squealing!!! 🎉

She said a big YES!!! There was so much excitement! It was awesome!

Madeline was so excited and overjoyed that she even flagged down a passing car to tell them the news! Of course, they were happy for them and wished them well.

We all really had a lot of fun during the engagement session. I love this location also, because it is so beautiful and there is a bit of variety as well. We ventured onto the trail for a little while too.

They were really happy and wanted to spread the joy! They made a few facetime calls while I was there, so they could tell some of their close family members about what just happened.

I have to say I felt energized by these two after spending this time with them for their surprise proposal and engagement session. There is a lot of love here for sure.
