When Brendan booked me for this photoshoot, he was not sure if it was going to be a surprise proposal shoot or an engagement session.

Well, he felt it out and it turned out that he found a different perfect moment to propose a couple days before I met them. She said yes! We ended up hiking together, all of us knowing we were about to do an engagement session.

I really love being an engagement photographer in the Asheville area because I am always meeting really cool people. This time was no exception. We chatted about hiking and traveling while we hiked Max Patch. These are a few of my favorite things.

The weather report was calling for snow later in the day, so we changed our timing to be earlier. It was really great that the weather scared everyone away and we had the mountain almost all to ourselves.

They told me they had never done photos together before, but I think they did really really well!
