When I arrived at Pretty Place Chapel that morning, it was still dark and also RAINING.

The chapel was packed with people who were there to see the sunrise. My clients were no exception.

Michael and I coordinated that morning so I could photograph the moment he proposed to his girlfriend, Janiece.

I scoped the place out and found them sitting at the front of the chapel. As the time passed, it became brighter and the rain cloud actually moved away.

Michael shared his earbuds and played Janiece a special song. Then they said a prayer together.

After the prayer, it was an emotional moment as Michael professed his feelings to Janiece. Then the moment happened where he got down on his knee and presented her with an engagement ring. She said YES!!

Not only were Michael and Janiece excited, but everyone in the Pretty Place Chapel was too. They got a huge round of applause from the crowd that surrounded them.

As we proceeded on to do our engagement session, people randomly stopped by to wish the couple well. It was really sweet.
