Ali contacted me about a surprise proposal for her girlfriend during their Asheville vacation. She had a really nice sunrise hike in mind. Her plan was to hike to the top and then propose to Alexis surrounded by a majestic mountain view all around.

I thought her plan was pretty solid, and we even came up with a plan b in case of lightning. Ali booked with me and I was excited for the day to arrive.

A few days later, one of their best friends contacted me. She told me that Alexis was also planning to propose on that hike and that she had also hired a photographer to capture the moment.  This was going to be a double surprise proposal!!! 😲😲

Neither of them knew that the other had the same plan. Soon after, Ali's mom called and told me the same news. She found out the name of the other photographer for me and we were able to coordinate together.

Sparks In The Forest was the other photographer and she was awesome to work with. She hiked up to the top early and awaited their arrival. I waited in my car, and when I saw them in the parking lot, I nonchalantly followed a bit behind on the hike.

It was so cute when we all got to the top. It was actually Alexis who proposed first.  She got down on one knee and proposed. Ali said yes!! Then no sooner did Alexis get up when Ali got down on one knee and she also proposed. Alexis said yes!! I was pretty sure we would get two yeses out of this moment.

Everyone was so happy! It was awesome!! Not to mention that the sunrise was amazing on the mountain that morning.
